Chest Muscles (Pec Muscles)
~ the "Show Off" Muscle ~

The chest muscles (pec muscles) are one of the most noticeable muscles for a body builder. Most men want to bulk up their chest while most women may be scared to add muscle to their chest.

Ladies, it's reassuring to know that adding some muscle to your chest will actually make your breasts appear perkier and bigger, since it helps to keep them lifted and not saggy.

If you get to know these pec muscles, then it'll help to make sure you train them right.

Make sure to do chest workouts that are designed to build your upper, middle and lower parts of your chest. Doing this will make sure you shape them up while getting a fuller look.
NOTE: Another way to make the chest look bigger is to slim up the waist, and vice versa.
As you lose body fat and tone up your abs, your chest not only appears larger, but your newly developed core muscles support your chest, whichwill actually push them up. As a result of this, your chest will appear more solid. You WANT that!

The basic function of the pec muscles is to bring both arms to the chest and give rotational movement to your arms when it's needed.

The Main Muscles of the Chest Are:

pectoralis major muscle
Pectoralis Major - located on the front of the rib cage, it's the largest pectoral muscle and it forms the bulk of the muscle which creates the illusion of a bigger chest.

It's main function is to bring the arm across the chest. There are 3 main parts of the pectoralis major (the upper, middle and lower pecs).

A perfect example of an exercise that works this muscle is the chest flyes.

    pectoralis minor muscle
Pectoralis Minor - this is the smaller chest muscle located underneath the pectoralis major at the upper part of the chest. This smaller muscle is attached to the third, fourth, and fifth ribs.

The function of this muscle is to move your shoulders forward, just like shrugging your shoulders.

Developing the pec major and pec minor together will ensure a beautifully shaped chest!

One of the last things you think of when trying to gain muscle is stretching. Most people don't realize that it should actualy be the first thing you think of, because stretching plays a critical role in muscle building. So basically, stretching helps to build MORE muscle!

That's one thing that Arnold Schwarzenegger did when he worked out. In between sets he would stretch his muscles. We all know how big and sculpted he was, so take it from a pro...STRETCH to build MORE muscle!

Ladies don't forget! Building muscle in your chest will help to make your breasts "appear" bigger, by shaping the muscle under the breast tissue it'll push the breast out.

Guys, it'll work for you too! I know y'all want a nice, big chiseled chest. Build your chest muscles, don't be left with a bird chest!
