The Stretching Handbook Review ~ Illustrated Stretching Exercises ~
The Stretching Handbook is a 144 page book filled with illustrated stretching exercises. Not only that, it's an easy to use reference guide
dedicated to teaching you how to stretch correctly in order to get your body as flexible and injury free as possible.
There are 135 unique flexibility stretches with detailed instructions along with 150 photos to "show" you how to do them. With that many
stretching exercises, it's easy to create a variety of stretching exercise routines for yourself.
The Stretching Handbook is written in a way that you don't have to read it cover to cover, although I highly recommend it. You'll appreciate
stretching that much more!
If you want to know the benefits of stretching then you can go straight to chapter 2, if you want to know how to stretch "safely" then chapter
5 covers that completely. Chapter 7 helps you to give yourself flexibility tests to see just where you are with "your" flexibility.
If you want to skip all that, then you can go straight to chapter 8 where it covers all 135 stretching exercises. You'll learn the unique
stretches from your neck all the way down to your toes.
The best part of this illustrated stretching exercises handbook, I think, is the section that covers the top 5 stretches for over 37 sports (of course each sport has its
own top 5 stretches) as well as for specific
sports injuries. This is a great way to better prepare yourself for your favorite sport and to help prevent or treat common injuries such as wrist sprains, elbow sprain, back sprain, ankle sprain...the list goes on.
If you're an athlete, you definitely need to get your hands on
The Stretching Handbook. It'll help improve your athletic performance while
alleviating muscle and joint pain.
BUT it's NOT just for athletes!! Every day life requires you to move around, bend, lift, reach, etc. If you're reading this, YOU need The
Stretching Handbook. Don't think that exercise alone is all you need, there are MANY
benefits to stretching!
This amazing book with illustrated stretching exercises is written by Brad Walker, a leading stretching and sports injury consultant with
more than 20 years experience in the health and fitness industry.
Brad dedicated a lot of his time to research on stretching and flexibility training. During his studies he saw that there was a lack of
information on stretching. That's when he stopped searching and started writing. Trust me, he knows what he's talking about!
The Stretching Handbook is very straight forward and very user friendly. Do your body a favor and loosen up your
muscles and joints!
